Vitalis Plec Pellets (formally known as Newera Plec Pellets) are suitable for all types of grazing catfish, especially for the Loricariidae species.

Loricariidae Catfish are also known as Plecos, known for their bony bodies and large sucker type mouths. Great to hoover up algae, these catfish can grow to a very large size, and if the algae content in your aquarium is low, they may decide to eat your plants. A good pellet supplements their diet and keeps them in perfect health.

These pellets have a soft texture, which makes them ideal for the delicate mouths and barbels of these foraging fish. Rich in algae, vitamins and minerals, each pellet is highly digestible to provide the very best diet.
