Selaginella Willdenowii

Selaginella Willdenowii is a beautiful species of Selaginella that provides an electric blue-green sheen to any planted setup. This particular species is well-suited for lowlight conditions and can be found growing along forest floors in the wild. Depending on the care provided, Selaginella Wildenowii will also produce a green-pink tint when viewed at alternative angles. Selaginella are evergreen rhizomatous perennials that offer a fern-like appearance to terrariums, vivariums, paludariums and garden settings. There are several varieties and each are fairly easy to care for. Sometimes referred to as Spike Moss, Trailing Moss, or Club Moss, this species of Selaginella is an attractive plant to grow and makes a great choice for ground cover in a terrarium, paludarium, or vivarium. Other species of Selaginella are also capable of climbing.

Selaginella Willdenowii is NOT an aquarium plant. Submerging this plant in an aquarium will kill it!
