Features of Ryukin Goldfish:

• Ryukins have a characteristic hump that forms in their shoulder region as they grow to maturity
• Ryukins are egg-shaped, with a body that is short and squat with a rounded belly
• They are slow, calm, and overall quite agreeable
• They also have long-flowing fins that add to their appearance

The Best Aquarium Size for Ryukin Goldfish:

A tank size between 75 and 100 Liters is much better for your goldfishs ongoing health, especially since they are very social fish.

Tank Mate Compatibility:

Ryukin Goldfish are very social fish that are happiest when they live in groups. Do not pair them with weaker fish, like Bubble Eye Goldfish, since if the Ryukin does start something, they could kill them.

Ryukin Feeding :

Packed food like Hikari fancy goldfish pellets, Vitalis Goldfish Pellets, Fluval Bug Bites Goldfish Flakes can give Ryukin Goldfish the variety omnivorous fish need. Live insects that sink to the bottom are also good, as are live or frozen goldfish food,brine shrimp and Daphnia, or common water fleas.
