Also known as US Fissidens as it is native to North America.

Phoenix Moss grows fine shoots with delicate, very narrow leaves that make each frond resemble feathers. The overall appearance is soft, fluffy and rounded. Young shoots are light green and become darker as they age.

Phoenix Moss is perfectly placed in the foreground as a stunning focal bush or in the midground attached to hardscape.

Phoenix Moss will grow under low-high lighting, with growth being more compact under higher intensity light. It is easy to grow and does not require CO2 although this will improve its appearance and growth rate.

Phoenix Moss prefers cooler temperatures, under 25 and preferably closer to 20.
