Oase BioMaster Prefilter Upgrade Kit

The Biomaster upgrade kit can be retrofitted to any model Biomaster filter. Kits are available for all sizes, and can be used on both Thermo and non thermo versions of the filter.

A newly designed tube inside the prefilter ensures flow rate is maintained for longer, thereby extending the period between cleans of the prefilter foams. Used in conjunction with the new 10ppi foams, this serves to provide adequate prefilter protection for the main filter media, whilst reducing negative pressure within the unit. This reduction helps reduce the chance of any air being drawn into the filter. Lastly a newly designed concave filter head underplate helps to direct any that may build up into the motor area to be swiftly pushed from the unit. The new head underplate also serves to raise the operating water level within the filter,improving operating efficiency and reducing the opportunity for large build ups of air within the filter. In summary, a Biomaster fitted with the upgrade kit will run more efficiently, more quietly and have a small increase in output performance.

Each upgrade kit contains one prefilter tube, a set of prefilter foams and one bottom cover.
