How easy are they to care for?
Leopard Bush fish are hardy and easy to care for; perfect for newcomers to fishkeeping.

How large can they grow?
Anywhere between 10-15cm.

Where in the world are they from?
This fish can be found throughout the Congo River basin in the Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Central African Republic.

What is the ideal number to keep together?
Will happily coexist with similar sized species, cichlids, miscellaneous oddball fish and plecos. Make sure there is enough room in your fish tank or else they can sometimes become territorial.

What water conditions do they require?
This species will require water temperature between 20-28C with a pH range of 5.5 – 7.5.

What should you feed them?
This carnivorous species should be fed frozen food such as bloodworm and mussels.

How compatible are they with other fish?
Should be kept with similar sized fish but generally they are not overly aggressive.

Can they be bred in captivity?
This species rarely successfully breeds in aquaria.
