Goby – Gold Head

The Gold Head Gobyare suited for theintermediate aquarist.Alsoknown as, Golden Head Sleeper, or Blueband, Bluestreak, or Yellowheaded Sleeper Goby. It is a peaceful species that will not usually bully other fish unless they are other gobies. They are sand sifters, sifting through the aquarium substrate for food. They are reef compatible and will not pick at corals.

This species is native to reefs within the Indo-Pacific Region.

Gold Head Goby’s are carnivores thereforediet should consist of a variety of foods such as live blackworms, brine shrimp, freeze dried & frozen foods.They will spend their day sifting through the aquarium substrate for food.

Gold Head Gobyrequire a minimum tank size of approximately 300L. They require a lid on the aquarium as they are known to be jumpers.
