Feeder Fish – Guppy

If you have a predatory fish, you might have been recommended to feed live fish in order to stimulate natural hunting instincts and to give a varied diet. Feeder guppies are particularly easy to breed and will offer your fish the excitement and nutrition that it needs. These guppies resemble the wild-type in coloration and finnage and most common/feeders are bred for one specific purpose, and that is to be fed to larger fish or other animals.

Feeding:

Feeder guppies are small size. These fish usually do best with flake food, pellets might be too big for your fish to eat!

Tank Size for Feeder Fish:

The smallest tank that should be used for feeder guppies is 10 gallons (37.9 L). This is sufficient for 10-15 feeder guppies, depending on their size.
