Clown Rasbora – Kalachroma – Special 6 for $50

TheClown Rasbora is also known as thebig spot Rasbora or Rasbora Kalachroma, and isa larger member offreshwater Rasbora fish family. TheClownRasborais a peaceful shoaling species and enjoys a planted aquarium in groups of 8 or more. Suited to the intermediate aquarist due to their sensitivity during water changes.

Native to Peninsular Malaysia and the Greater Sunda Islands of Borneo and Sumatra, the ClownRasbora is naturally found in densely vegetated black water streams. They are a timid species and will gain confidence with lots of hiding spaces and ingroups.

Features ofClownRasbora’s:

• Reddish-copper colorbody with dark spots on theirbodies, anal fins, and tails.
• Male Dwarf Rasbora’s are slimmer & brighter than females
• Active during the daytime & rest at night
• Grows up to 9cm

The Best Aquarium Size forClownRasbora’s:

The minimum tank size for a small group of Clown Rasboras is 100L. TheClownRasbora will occupy the top to middle water column in the aquarium.
