Ciano Filter Foam Media

The Ciano filter foams has been designed for use inside the Ciano Filter CF40 and CF80 range of filters. Both sizes will provide filtration for 90 days.

The foam is suitable for use inside cold and tropical freshwater aquaria and provides excellent biological and mechanical filtration results.

Works by allowing bacteria to colonise, breaking down ammonia at the same time. It also catches particles of waste floating around inside the aquarium water producing clear water results.

Ciano Bio-Bact Filter Media

The Ciano Bio-Bact Media has been designed for use inside the Ciano CF40 and CF80 range of filters.

Contains 2 cartridges, totalling 280 days worth of filtration

The cartridges break down the waste inside the aquarium water that lead to poor health in fish, resulting in clarity of water, thus healthier aquarium inhabitants.

The Ciano Bio-Bacteria Cartridges can improve the developmental growth and vitality of aquarium fish.

Ciano Water Clear Filter Media

The Ciano Water Clear cartridge has been designed for use inside the Ciano Filter CF40 and CF80 range of filters.

Contains 2 cartridges, totalling 60 days worth of filtration

As a great addition to any filtration setup, water will not only look clearer but those nutrients needed by unwanted algae in order to grow are also removed from the aquarium water.

The cartridges contain activated carbon which is commonly used to remove discoloration that builds up over time inside aquariums. Activated carbon also successfully strips medications out of the water once these chemicals have been used and are no longer required.

Ciano Stop-Algae Filter Media

The Ciano Water Clear cartridge has been designed for use inside the Ciano Filter CF40 and CF80 range of filters.

Small: contains 2 cartridges, totalling 90 days worth of filtration
Medium: contains 1 cartridges, totalling 45 days worth of filtration

The small sized cartridges help to prevent algae growth by ridding those important nutrients needed by algae to grow and reproduce. One Ciano Stop Algae Cartridge offers the equivalent of 45 days maintenance, producing noticeable clear water in a short space of time.

For best results it is advised that the cartridge is changed from the Ciano filter every 45 days. Each cartridge contains nitrate and phosphate removers which are embedded into the structure for remarkable results.
