Echinodorus compacta

Another attractive and hardy aquarium plant, Echindorus compacta is easy to grow with it’s oval shaped leaves which have a hint of red to them. Like all Echinodorus they are heavy root feeders which means adding root tabs is highly beneficial and you’ll get the best from them that way. Of course, adding pressurised CO2 is the fastest way to improve overall health and growth rate.

Best planted in groups, this lovely Echindorus will catch your eye in the aquarium for sure. Grows up to 30cm so not the largest making them best suited to the midground.
