The Red Scissortail Rasbora is naturally found in densely vegetated black water streams. They are a timid species and will gain confidence with lots of hiding spaces and ingroups.

• A silver slender body with orange and black marks on a scissor like tail
• This species can be seen to open and close it’s tail like a pair of scissors
• Active during the daytime & rest at night
