Apistogramma Agassizi, commonly known as Agassiz’s dwarf cichlid, isa freshwater fish found in South American. The Inka-50 Agassizi also known as Apistogramma Baenschi, isacolorful and attractively variant of this species. Theyare relatively peaceful cichlid fish and are ideal for smaller aquariums. Features of Apistogramma Agassizi Inka-50:

• Have an amazing candy blue belly with flecks of green, yellow, and orange
• This fish is hardy, easy to care for and with plenty of personality
• Males and females are very different from one another. Males have a large snout with fairly large lips, they also have large rays at the front of the dorsal fin and a blood-red edge to the tail. Females are smaller and less colorful, they have very dark pelvic fins and a black spot at the base of the pectorals
• Average Lifespan 8 years

The Best Aquarium Size for Apistos:

In most cases, they can be kept in both small and large aquariums. We recommend providing a tank size of 60L for mature Apistos. Tank size can vary greatly depending on how big or small the fish is and how many you plan to stock in the tank. The bigger tank is better for the health of your fish.

Apistogramma Agassizi Inka-50 can be kept with a variety of other fish species. They do well in community tanks. It is important to avoid keeping them with aggressive fish though, as they may become stressed or injured.

Feeding :

Primarily carnivorous in nature. In the aquarium, live and frozen foods such as Artemia, Daphnia and chironomid larvae (bloodworm) should be offered regularly although most specimens will also learn to accept dried alternatives with pelleted products generally preferred to flake.
