The Best Aquarium Size for Cichlid:

The minimum tank size forElectric Blue cichlids is 100L. Note that several fryeri females should be kept per male in order to reduce harassment, and only one male should be kept in the colony unless the aquarium is bigger than 300L.The bigger tank is always the better. The tank should have more horizontal than vertical space.

Tank Mate Compatibility:

Electric Blue Cichlids are not suitable for placing into a general community tank with small fish. However, they are very gregarious and should be kept in groups of 6 or more.Tank needs to have plenty of hiding places to allow a community to successfully exist. Electric Blue fryeri should be kept with other large African cichlid species such as

• Nimbochromis venustus
• Aulonocara
