Zeolite – 100 ml (Bagged)

Seachem Zeolite is a naturally occurring, exceptionally porous mineral used to help clean and clarify freshwater and saltwater aquariums by quickly binding harmful ammonia and heavy metals such as lead, copper, nickel and zinc. Using an ion exchange mechanism, the media has a higher binding capacity than any other product currently on the market today. Zeolite will not deplete calcium in saltwater and won’t increase general hardness levels in freshwater. The versatile media can be used in canister filters, media chambers, box filters or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Comes in a 100 ml bagged container.

Instructions:
Rinse prior to use. Use 250 mL (1 cup) of Seachem Zeolite for every 200 L (50 US gallons) of aquarium water. For smaller aquariums, the equivalent dose is 5 mL (1 level teaspoon) per 4 L (1 US gallon). This amount of Zeolite will remove up to 0.5 mg/L of harmful ammonia. Closely monitor ammonia levels, as they should drop to zero within 24-48 hours. At this point, the zeolite can be removed or replaced with activated carbon.
