The Maroon Clown from the Coral Sea and the Indo-Pacific region is a member of the Pomacentridae family. This clown is deeply colored and has a personality to match. Don't be surprised if your Maroon Clown reacts when you walk by the tank. Maroons can be quite bold, so they should be kept with larger tank mates and no other clowns. Although not necessary for survival, they do immensely enjoy bonding with an Anemone, like a Bubble Tip, Long Tentacle, or Sebae Anemone. This omnivore will eat a diet of frozen herbivore preparations and shrimp in captivity.
